Good location near city center. Near to a train station, easy access. Spotless room with a terrace as expected.

The highlight of my stay at this traditional Swiss mountain hotel was undoubtedly the restaurant. Stepping into the quaint 16th-century dining room felt like stepping back in time, and the delicious regional cuisine served there was simply extraordinary. Each bite was a culinary masterpiece, and the flavors danced on my palate like graceful skiers on freshly fallen snow.

Made to feel welcome in hotel. The restuarant served good local dishes.
Room on the small side and no bath, but ok for a weeks stay.

We loved our stay at the Auberge de la poste! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We are a family of four and were all able to stay in one room - one double and two twin beds which worked perfectly for us. Breakfast was delicious! And food at the restaurant was fabulous! If we are ever back in the area, we would stay there above any other options. Wonderful!!
I am a light sleeper and was occassionally awakened by the sounds of footsteps from the room above ours. I only mention this so that, if you are a light sleeper like me, you can come prepared with earplugs or a sound machine which worked beautifully. This is really only a very small suggestion. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Absolutely lovely location, staff and experience!

The location of this hotel is perfect, close to plenty of walks allowing you to enjoy the amazing scenery, whilst being in the centre of a village. The restaurant in the hotel was perfect and had many diners from other hotels in the village - a good testament to the meals on offer. Breakfast was also good, not the biggest choice you will have seen in a hotel, but ideal for starting the day! We really enjoyed our short break here.

We liked almost every aspect of "Auberge de la poste. Excellent staff, friendly and professional.
The stairs are not suited for people with knee- or hipproblems. No lift The rooms are very nice, but not suitable for tall people, they could easyly "collide " with the ceiling

During my recent stay, I had the pleasure of enjoying the close proximity of the hotel to the train station and free buses. This made it convenient for me to explore the beautiful sights of Aigle and Col Du Pillon, including the lovely Glacier 3000 and Suspension Bridge. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my room was comfortable and well-maintained with daily linen changes and toiletry replenishments. The water heater worked perfectly, providing me with a relaxing hot shower after my adventurous outings. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend trying out the food at the hotel restaurant as well. my experience was fantastic and I would definitely consider returning. Thank you for the really good service.

Clean, good value hotel, the location was lovely and incredible right by property's restaurant, ski lift, bars and restaurants and the gondola to Glacier 3000 and the Peak Walk. Traditional building and rooms with a balcony. Lots of supplies in the room: central heating and multi-channel television.

Had a blast staying at Auberge De La Poste. Enjoyed delicious traditional Swiss cuisine, great drinks at the bar/lounge, and convenient ski storage. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend trying their tasty dishes.
Slept so well, I almost missed the fact that the building I stayed in was not the one advertised. How funny!

Location - literally the most central building of the village. Has the feeling of a traditional wooden swiss cottage. The room is small, but well build and all the furniture are efficiently placed,so that a young couple would not need more room. Good breakfast.
If you don't like the smell of cheese, don't go! We love it! Only one of the personnel did speak fluently english, the rest are limited to french. On regards to the language, it is sad that the rest of the personnel, especially the waiter in the restaurant, do not realise how bad their skills are. Instead of admitting his ignorance, he accused us of not understanding him! Nevertheless, this minor event of the language barrier could not affect our overall opinion. We would still highly recommend this lovely hotel.
